Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our small but dynamic team as we expand our range of products in the UK market. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our technical solutions and customer needs, ensuring that clients receive the best possible service and support. You will utilise your technical expertise and sales acumen to identify suitable products, drive customer satisfaction and contribute to the growth of our business.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating on price and providing product innovation ideas.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations of products and services to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and strategies for growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals and documentation using Google Workspace and Odoo ERP (training provided).
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in all deliverables.
  • Organise and participate in trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events to showcase our offerings.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in HVAC installation, preferably both commercial and domestic.
  • Experience in a technical sales role or similar position within the HVAC sector.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively in order to support our installer network.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Workspace is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients at all levels.

Pay: £30,255.72-£46,218.12 per year

Expected hours: 16 – 37.5 per week
