Inaudible Flow Rates - Side Round Diffusers

The following airflows give a noise level of 17dB. Installers often use 25dB as the level of inaudible noise. We use a lower figure to allow for other fixings such as dampers and other constrictions upstream of the diffuser and also to allow for some margin of error.

Inaudible Flow Rates - Side Round Diffusers

The flow rates provided below ensure a remarkably low noise level of 17 dB(A).

Installer Standards: While many installers consider 25 dB(A) to be the level of inaudible noise, we deliberately use a lower figure (17 dB(A)).
Safety Margin: This conservative lower figure allows for common upstream constrictions, such as dampers and other fixings, ensuring truly silent operation in your space, even under less-than-ideal conditions.
